Edwin Lightner, Jr.

Edwin Lightner was 2 years old in 1910 and was living with his parents, Edwin, 35, and Mary, 27, on Bone Street in Globe, Arizona, and also living with them was Raymond Simmons, 10, the son of Mary and her first husband. Edwin's father was working as a launderer at a steam laundry. Edwin's father was born in Texas, his mother in England, and Raymond and Edwin, Jr., were both born in Arizona.

In the 1930 U.S. Federal Census for Globe, Gila County, Arizona, Edwin was 22 years old, living on Santee Street with a Mr. F.C. Fuller, 45 years old (who was married but his wife was not living with him), and they were both working as used car salesmen. They were renting their home for $15. per month.

On July 23, 1941, Edwin was 33 years old and was a first class passenger on board the ship S.S. President Pierce sailing from Honolulu, Hawaii, to San Francisco, California.
