Edwin Moroni West

E.M. West Called To Reward: Victim of a heart attack, Edwin M. West died at his home near Vista Way, Sunday evening. He had gone out into the yard for stove wood, and after a considerable time had elapsed, Mrs. West went in search of him, and found he had fallen to the ground and died. Mr. West was born in Iron County, Utah, July 28, 1871. He came to California in 1920 and located at Los Angeles, where he was engaged in the real estate and bond brokerage business. About four years ago he purchased property near the George Gunn ranch and had resided there since. Last October he was married to Mrs. Jessie Mitchell, who with two sons by his first wife, survive him. The surviving sons are: Ray West, a violinist and orchestra leader of Los Angeles, and Wayne West, also an orchestra leader of Los Angeles. Interment was in Inglewood Cemetery Wednesday afternoon.
