REAMAN, Elaine Victoria Born 1918 in Woodstock, Ontario, died June 22, 2012 in Victoria, BC. Elaine was the only child of Flora Josephine (Green) and George Elmore Reaman. In her younger years, she was an accomplished musician, studying the violin. She later went on to complete her Bachelor of Arts degree, and then attended McMaster University's Library School. She was one of the first librarians hired to establish the library at University of Waterloo and she retired from UW in 1984. After her retirement, she moved to Victoria, where she was active in her church and in the community. Elaine ensured that her Father's work was not lost, and continued to support the organizations that he created or played a lead role in: The Huguenot Society, the Pennsylvania German Folklore Society of Ontario, and the Ontario Genealogical Society. Elaine loved to travel. She was a good friend, and will be sorely missed. No service by request.
