Eleanor Dunnivan

Eleanor Knight Dunnivan, 85, of Madison, died on Wednesday, April 13, 2011, at the University of Virginia Medical Center.

She was born on February 7, 1926, in Greene County, the daughter of the late Chesley Knight and Mary Geer Knight. She was also preceded in death by her daughter and son-in-law, Mary and William Rollins; a grandson, Brandon Rollins; and a brother, Ollie Knight.

She is survived by her children, Beverly Knighton and her husband, Dale, Robin Clatterbuck and her husband, Cary, all of Madison, Royce Dunnivan and his wife, Linda, of Raleigh, North Carolina, Bruce Dunnivan and his wife, Karen, of Ruckersville; grandchildren, Royce W. Dunnivan Jr. and Michelle Snovak, Richard and Bridget Dunnivan, Jaclyn Dunnivan, Michael Rollins and Stephanie Henry, Jeffrey and Torie Knighton, Shannon Clatterbuck, Cory Clatterbuck and Candace Jones, Alicia Eppard, Nikki Eppard and A.T. Taylor; great-grandchildren, Travis Dunnivan, Taylor Dunnivan, Katie Dunnivan, Brent Laconico, Josephine Dunnivan, Chase Rollins, Josh Hudson, Brian Hudson, Haley Jones, Addison Knighton, Ainsley Knighton, Timberlee Eppard-Hoffman, Taylor Eppard-Hoffman; brothers, Thurman Knight and wife, Ruth, of Stanardsville, Winfred Knight and wife, Violet, of Martinsburg, West Virginia, Bobby Knight and Ruby Powell of Stanardsville; sisters, Maxine Berry of Madison, Evelyn Shifflett and her husband, Raymond, of Stanardsville; a host of nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, April 16, 2011 at Preddy Funeral Home Chapel in Madison with interment at Madison Memorial Gardens conducted by Pastor Jeff Shifflett.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 8 p.m. Friday, April 15, 2011, at the funeral home.
