Eleanor was convicted and sentenced to 7 years transportation. She arrived in Sydney Cove on 11/2/1796 on "Marquis Cornwallis"

Michael DONOVAN left the colony c1808 taking 3 of his 4 children with him (he left 1 daughter behind)

In March 1813, Eleanor and Michael MURPHY were convicted of stealing cattle and were sentenced to 14 years transportation to Newcastle. Eleanor returned to Parramatta by October 1814, back in Newcastle January 1815, back to Parramatta and then back to Newcastle in January 1816. Back in Sydney in August 1816 and then back to Newcastle in March 1817

After Michael MURPHY's death in 1819, Eleanor married William BURKE
