Mary married Conrad Riffe son of Gabriel Riffe and Elizabeth Munsey about 1816. Conrad was born on 14 Jul 1794 in Wythe County, Virginia. He died on 17 Oct 1855 in Greenup County, Kentucky.

They had the following children:

     	  	  	  	Daniel married Elizabeth West on 17 Jun 1847.

     	609 	F 	iv 	Sarah Jane Riffe was born on 21 Jul 1823 in Boyd County, Kentucky.

     	  	  	  	Sarah married Joseph Webb on 7 Aug 1838.

     	610 	F 	v 	Anna Riffe was born about 1824 in Logan County, West Virginia.

     	  	  	  	Anna married Joel Stover on 19 Oct 1848.

     	611 	F 	vi 	Phoebe Riffe was born in Sep 1827 in Logan County, West Virginia. She died on 25 Dec 1907 in Huntington, Cabell County, West Virginia.

     	  	  	  	Phoebe married Alexander M. McKinney on 11 Feb 1853 in Near Greenup, Greenup County, Kentucky.

     	612 	M 	vii 	George W. Riffe was born on 5 Nov 1829 in Logan County, West Virginia. He died on 11 Jan 1907.

     	  	  	  	George married Piety Dixon Hackworth Arthur on 9 Feb 1850.

     	613 	M 	viii 	Gordon C. Riffe was born about 1832 in Logan County, West Virginia.

     	  	  	  	Gordon married Arematha Smith on 5 Apr 1854.

     	614 	M 	ix 	Jeremiah M. Riffe was born on 8 Jan 1836 in Greenup County, Kentucky. He died on 24 Jan 1917.

     	  	  	  	Jeremiah married Martha Jane Halbert on 29 Nov 1856 in Kentucky. Martha was born on 22 Jan 1833 in , Floyd County, Kentucky. She died on 16 Jan 1915 in Yatesville, Lawrence County, Kentucky.

     	616 	M 	xi 	Anthony A. Riffe was born about 1840 in Greenup County, Kentucky. 

According to Brenda Forrest, Elexious Riffe was born in Russell, Virginia, a claim backed by the 1860 census. The 1850 census lists his birthplace as simply "unknown." In 1870 he was said to be born in West Virginia, a state that would have been part of Virginia when he was born.

Elexious Riffe is mentioned in the records of the Riffe Family Cemetery at the old Riffe home-place on Cane Creek in Greenup County, Kentucky, as having lived from "Apr 2, 1819 [to] May 28, 1898."

In "Greenup County, Kentucky Marriages" by Patricia Porter, on p. 255, there is a recorded marriage between "Riffe, Lexius" and "Arthurs, Judith" on "Dec. 30, 1840 (Wednesday) consent of Sarah Arthurs, mother of Judith."

In 1850, Riffe was a "laborer" in Greenup with his wife "Julia" (Judith), children Lucretia, William, Osborn, and Coonrod, mother-in-law Sarah Arthurs, and two other members of the Arthurs family.

In 1860, he lived in Hoods Run, Kentucky and worked as a "master colier" at the Laurel Iron Furnace. A "Thomas Chum", apparently the husband of Riffe's daughter Lucretia, is also recorded to have lived with the Riffes.

In 1870, he had moved to Old Town, Kentucky, working in (sheep?) farming.

According to Patricia Porter's Greenup County, Kentucky Marriages, "Lexius" Riffe married Judith Arthurs on Wednesday, December 30, 1841, with the consent of Judith's mother Sarah.

In 1850 Riffe is living in Greenup, Kentucky with his wife and four children and working as a laborer. Several members of his wife's family, including her mother Sarah, are also living with the family. [1850 census]

Riffe died on May 28, 1898, and was buried in the Riffe Family Cemetery in Greenup County, Kentucky. [headstone]
