E. Blaine Orndoff, 87, of Rogersville, died at 11:50 p.m. Thursday, November 16, 1972 in the Greene County Memorial Hospital. He had been seriously ill for the past 10 days.
Born January 11, 1885, in Center Township, he was the son of the late William Henry and Martha Ullom Orndoff. His first wife, the former Goldie Carpenter, is deceased, and he is survived by his second wife, Vera Agee Orndoff Orndoff.
Mr. Orndoff was a well-known lifelong farmer of Center Township. He had been very active in the former Rogersville Grange, and had been a membero of the Modern Woodman Lodge of Carmichaels.
Mr. Orndoff attended the Rogersville United Methodist Church.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, Vera Orndoff, are three sons: Clarence Orndoff, of New Florence, R.D. 2; Walter Orndoff, of Rogersville, and Ralph Orndoff, of Evert; a daughter, Mrs. Louis (Martha) Martin, of Sycamore, R.D. 1; eight grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a brother, Glenn Orndoff, of Leechburg; and two sisters: Mrs.Glenn (Kate) Iams, of Waynesburg, and Mrs. Sallie Church, of Rogersville.
A son, Frank Orndoff, two infant children, a brother, Willliam H. Orndoff, and two sisters, Bessie Mitchell and Mary Gordon, are all deceased.
