Taught school in Nicollet County for 2 years and in St Peter for 3 years, acting as county superintendent of schools; While at St Peter; filled position Auditor Nicollet County, 14 years; Was cashier First National Bank, St Peter, 10 1/2 years; Has been deputy state treasurer since January 7, 1901, Also secretary and treasurer and director of Good Homes Land Co.
Republican, Member of Masonic Order, Knights of Pythias. Married at Nicollet Co. 1873 to Miss Elizabeth S. Hughes. Recreation: Literature. Office: State Capitol. 2314 Langford Ave., St Paul."
