Life long friends of Eliga's 2gg son Robert Estel 'Zeke' Hopper, we have long wondered if our Hopper families were related. Both Hopper families ended up in Caldwell Co. KY; however to date we are not connected. At least the information provided does not prove a connection.

8 18 15 Researchers who worked with James T. Henderson suspect but have not proved that Eliga's father Campbell M. Hopper's parents were Samuel Marion and Elizabeth Webb and that his grandparents were Gillum and Nancy Campbell Hopper. They postulate that more research is needed.
