Elijah Calloway Willcockson

Elijah Calloway Willcockson was the fourth of fifteen known children of Capt. Elijah Wilcoxen (1789-1860) and Charlotte Calloway (1792-1875), who married on 21 Nov 1811 at Ashe County, North Carolina.

Some records show Elijah died 22 Jan 1890; but it is believed that the 1872 death date is correct and his grave marker says 1872. Most Fulton County, Illinois records spell his surname as Wilcoxen, but his grave marker says Willcockson, so I will list it that way.

Elijah married Prudence Putnam (1820-1882) on 22 Sep 1836 at Fulton County, Illinois. Elijah and Prudence were the parents of fifteen known children, namely:

The order of birth of the last two children is uncertain.
