MEMORIAL PHOTOS 2 FLOWERS 4 Elisha was the Gr,Gr Grandfather of Judy Johnson. He was the son of William Rogers Capps & Lucy Fly. The FLY name is not Indian; the name can be traced back to England, but Elisha's maternal Great Grandmother married a Cherokee Indian and possibly his Grandmother also. Elisha was a gentle, self-taught, intelligent man. He married Mary Ann Stout July 8, 1849 in Carroll Co., TN. She was the daughter of Lemuel & Polly (Capps) Stout. Besides the daughter, Alice, they had 8 other children: William Lemuel, H.Granville, John A., Stephen Andrew, Albert S., Frances, Calthy Jane, and Matilda E.'Kit'.
