Elizabeth Baker

Elizabeth Baker Ellmaker was born @ 1742. Her father's name was Peter Baker & Elizabeth is listed in his will.(Bk E, Vol I pg 197) Her father may have been married at least 3 times, with his last marriage being to Charlotte OLay. The Groff Book lists Mary Groff as a wife of a Peter Baker of Earl Twp but I don't think this was Elizabeth's family. Peter Baker, whose will was proved Feb 3, 1785 lists Elizabeth, wife of Leonard Ellmaker. Per records of Rev. Stoever, Peter Baker married 1st to Susanna Holtzbaum on Nov 18, 1735. Per Rev Waldschmidt records John Jacob Baker, born 1753 is a son of Peter and Susanna Baker. Since Elizabeth was born before John Jacob it is most likely that Susanna Holtzbaum Baker is her mother.
Elizabeth married Leonard (jr) Ellmaker on April 3rd 1764.
