Elizabeth was born in 1688. She is the daughter of Joseph Callaway. [2]

It is believed by Bramlett researchers that she married, as his second wife, William Bramlett, Sr.

We have no estimated dates for Elizabeth, but believe she was much younger than William Bramlett. Elizabeth's sister chose William Bramlett as her guardian after she had reached the age of 14. It seems that her brother, Thomas, had previously been appointed her guardian before she came to the age of 14 and could choose her own guardian. The only reason we could think of that she would select William Bramlett, Sr for her guardian was that her sister, Elizabeth, was married to him. Other Bramlett researchers also thought this. The 'after' death date for William Bramlett is the date of that deed referred to, in which Bramlett refers to his will. The will was apparently never recorded; we nor the Bramletts have never found it.[3]
