Also living in Russell county Virginia is Thomas Hansford,He bought land Feb. 22,1791 on a branch of the Cinch River from Francis and Jane Price.Also living in Russell Co.is Benjamin Hansford. Mary Anne Hansford and her husband John Short sold to Spencer Breeding and his wife Elizabeth 327 acres on 22 July 1794,Russell County Virginia,and to Spencers father John Breedin 313 acres. Rev. Thomas Hansford, Benjamin Hansford, Mary Anne Hansford Short,brothers and sister were the children of William Hansford born 1727 brother to Anne Hansford born about 1725 who was the wife of Thomas Finnell parents of Elizabeth Finnell Breeding.They are all descendents of William Hansford and Sarah Sallis.
