The will of Arthur [Arthur Allen II] was proved in Surry Co. Court September 5, 1710 and named the following children.
The will of Arthur Allen II implies that two of Elizabeth's children, Joseph and Martha, were of age at the time: so, they would have been born no later than 1688--thereby establishing a likely birth for her in the early 1670s, at the latest. Consequently, she was in every probability her parents's eldest child. She died between the 2 December 1726 making of her sister Ann Day's will, in which she was mentioned, and probably 27 December 1730: her husband's will, which was made on this date, names no wife and places one of their under-age sons under guardianship.
