probably by Henry is the following " Memorial"; "The 30th day of the 3rd
month, 1783, there departed this life, the above named wife of Henry Clark
and having by all probabilities fought a good fight of faith, laid down her
head in peace. This eye writ as a memorial for her, to be seen by her
offspring and to consider, in the fear of the Lord, how they are providing
and preparing for that great change".
