Evidence from the National Records of Scotland

16 March 1529: Charter by which Thome Craufurd de Auchinnamis confirms that he has given the lands of Auchinnamis in the parish of Kilbarchan to ELIZABETH CUNYNGHAME daughter to William Cunynghame of Craganis. This land was to be held by Elizabeth and her lawful male heirs by her marriage to Thome, whom failing by Thome's nearest heir whatsoever. On 15 April 1530 Elizabeth obtained a charter of confirmation under the Great Seal of Scotland. [RMS 1513-46: charter number 928
