A native of Hampton Township, Cumberland County, Penna., and the daughter of Isaac Addams and Jane Anderson, Elizabeth married William Eckels, January 1844, they were the parents of three children:

William "Willie" Huston Eckels born 19 December 1847 and died 17 September 1849 age 1 year 8 months and 28 days.

Jane Agnes Eckels born 4 July 1849 and died 26 September 1925, married Samuel Sample born 28 January 1848 and died 14 August 1912, both are buried in the Baldwin Cemetery, Dauphin County, Penna. He was employed in the steel works in Steelton, Dauphin County, Penna.
