Biography

Elizabeth Waterman was born 8 AUG 1675 in Norwich, New London, Connecticut, to Thomas Waterman (1644 - 1708) and Miriam Tracy (1648 - 1732).[1]

Elizabeth WATERMAN (1675-1751) married Captain John Fitch (1665-1743) on 10 Jul 1695 in Windham or Norwich, Connecticut. [2]

Children of Captain John Fitch and Elizabeth Waterman born at Windham, Conn.:

1. ELIZABETH, b. J June 1696; d. at Windham, 3 July 1780; m. at Windham. 24 Apr. 1718, NATHANIEL WEBB, b. at Milton, Mass., 10 Feb. 1696, d. at Windham, 19 Sept. 1750; had nine children.[1]
2. Mariam, b. 17 Oct. 1699; d.s.p. at Windham, 19 Dec. 1744; m. at Windham. 16 Oct. 1740, HEZEKIAH Ripley, b. 10 June 1695, d. 7 Feb. 1779 in 84th yr., son of Joshua and Hannah (Bradford) Ripley, of Windham.[1]
3. PRISCILLA, b. 5 Feb. 1702/3[1][3][4][5] died on 6 MAY 1782 Canterbury, Windham, Connecticut, USA[3][4][6] On 31 May 1732 in Canterbury, Windham, Connecticut, she married Mayflower Descendant Solomon Paine (1698 – 1754) the son of Elisha Paine (1658 – 1735) and Rebecca Doane (1668 – 1758) as his second wife.[3][4][7]
4. JOHN, b. 18 Mar. 1704/5 ; d. 19 Feb. 1760 ae. 54 yrs. 11mos. m. 25 Jan. 1731, Alice Fitch, b. 13 Jan. 1713, daughter of Ebenezer and Bridget (Brown) Fitch.[1]

Elizabeth (Waterman) Fitch died 25 Jun 1751 in Windham, Windham, Connecticut.[1] She is buried in Windham Center Cemetery in Windham, Connecticut. See Find A Grave Memorial# 42331521[8]
