Malcolm Fleming of Monycabo (dvp. c. 1477), mar. bef. 2 Apr 1472 Eupheme Livingston (mar. (2) bef. 1 Jun 1493 William Fleming of Bord; d. after 1 Jun 1493), 2nd dau. of James [Livingston], 1st Lord Livingston, by his wife Marian ....., and had issue:

1a. Elizabeth Fleming (d. after 25 Feb 1489/90), mar. George Fleming, Yr. of Bord, son and heir ap. of William Fleming of Bord

They had one son:

• James Fleming, of Bord, who it could be presumed was born c. 1490. He had a precept of clare constat (where a superior Lord recognizes the title of the subordinate Lord) as grandchild and heir of William Fleming of Bord, from John, Lord Fleming, on 30 April 1506. This likely the event of his father's death. He appears as son of deceased George, and heir of William Fleming his grandfather on 21 July 1513; this likely soon after the death of his grandfather.[3]
