Elizabeth Diane Graves

Elizabeth "Diane" Graves, 79, of Spotsylvania County passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family and husband of 61 3/4 years on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Mary Washington Hospital, as a result of a fall caused by PSP.

As a mother of five, she was always admired for her love, kindness, and patience. Diane's lifelong passions included her wonderful koi pond, love of birds, antiquing/shopping, and rides through the countryside. She also had a love for earrings and had an extensive collection.

Survivors include her husband, Dickie Graves; children Ricky Graves (Melissa), Lisa Graves Molinaro (Dave), Lynn Comstock (Mike), Susan Graves (Rick Uhler), and Frederick Graves (Laurie); 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and siblings Pat Cleary, Ronald Wheeler, and Richard Shelton. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lucille Boswell; sister Beverly Roberts; and brother Sonny Jones.

Diane was a wonderful mother, loving wife - enemy to none, friend to all. She will be missed by everyone.

A service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, December 31 at Crossroads Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the church. Interment will be private.
