Elizabeth Hooke

Mrs. Elizabeth Hook died on 26 March 1717 in Salisbury, Essex, Province of Massachusetts Bay.[1]

William Hooke was born circa 1635, in York, Maine, the son of William Hooke of Bristol England, born April 12, 1612, and Eleanor Knight, his wife. His parents moved to Salisbury, Massachusetts, in 1640, with William and his younger brother, Josiah. William's brother, Jacob was born September 15, 1640, in Salisbury.

William married Elizabeth Dyer and was the father of seven children, all born in Salisbury, Massachusetts:

2. Elizabeth Hook, born February 22, 1671/2, married Ezekiel Cravath of Boston, in 1698
3. Eleanor Hooke, born February 20, 1673/4, married Andrew Greeley, August 17, 1702
4. Humphrey Hooke, born January 28, 1675/6, married Judith March, May 5, 1700
5. Jacob Hooke, born January 7, 1677/8, married Mary March, April 17, 1707
6. Martha Hooke, born June 18, 1681, married William Buswell, April 7, 1715
7. Josiah Hooke, born August 26, 1683

He died on 03 September 1721 in Salisbury.[1]
