Elizabeth Marye Brent Hunton was the daughter of Captain William Brent and Hannah Neal. Her father was an officer in the Revolutionary War. During the war he moved his family to Bealeton, VA, where Elizabeth was born. Her birth date is approximate, and based on information from son's autobiography. She married Eppa Hunton on 23 June 1811.
