From John Maltby: Phillip Washburn m. Elizabeth, daughter of John and Elizabeth (Risely[?]) Irish, of Duxbury, Plymouth Colony.

Based on the location shown above, I have set her m. at Duxbury and marked it "Uncertain". Elizabeth Risely was born ca. 1613, a daughter possibly of Richard and Mary (Arnold) Risely and died on 28 Aug. 1687 in Duxbury.

Maltby cites the below as references for the above: Little Compton Families, Little Compton, RI, 1967 by Benjamin Franklin Wilbour p. 370, taken apparently from the Compendium of American Genealogy, Vol. 6, p. 785.

He then states: I have not been able to confirm her maiden name from reliable published sources or through original record research.

So I changed her LNAB to "Unknown". He states basically the same thing about her b. and d. dates and the latest date of record for her is 7 December 1659.

I have also changed her d. to after that and set the parents as "Uncertain".
