Elizabeth married John William Kerns, Sr. Together they had the following children: Henry Kerns; Elisabeth Kerns; Mary Kerns; Jacob Kerns; Fredrick Kerns, Sr; William Kerns; Issac Kerns; Elisha Kerns; Sarah Foley (Kerns); Catherine Kerns; John Kerns, Jr.; Lewis Kerns; Philip Kerns; Hannah Kerns.

She died between 1846-1849 in Bloomery, Hampshire County, West Virginia, United States and was buried in Bloomery Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
