About Elizabeth B. Loewen
Our dear mother, Elizabeth Loewen (nee Froese) was born on the 25th, of July 1865, in South Russia. Died Feb. 13, 1944 at 4 o'clock P.M. Her death was caused by heart failure. She reached the age of 78 years, 6 months, and 19 days.
She began to fail last summer and was bedfast since Jan. 26.
The mourning survivors are 2 sons, 5 daughters, 39 grand-children, 1 great-grand-child, 1 brother and 2 sisters. Three sons, 1 dau. and 3 grandchildren preceded her in death.
We do not mourn as those who have no hope regarding eternity, but have the full assurance that she has her place in the heavenly mansions prepared for those who love the Lord. — The Children.
Funeral services were conducted in the Rosenort Church Wed. Feb. 16, 1944. Bro. J. T. Wiebe spoke at the home; Bro. G. F. Goossen spoke from scripture Rev. 19:1-9. Bro.
