Elizabeth H. Loose

Mrs. Elizabeth H. Loose, 104, of Homewood Retirement Center, Martinsburg, since Jan. 7, 1993, formerly of 207 N. Nicodemus St., Martinsburg, died at 8:10 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, 1994, at the center, following a brief illness.

Mrs. Loose was a homemaker.

She was born June 15, 1889, in New Enterprise RD, the daughter of Andrew and Catharine (Replogle) Hoffman. She married John F. Loose on Oct. 15, 1919, in Altoona. He died Sept. 2, 1976.

Surviving are three sons: J. William of Roaring Spring RD 1, Richard H. of Martinsburg and Robert A. of Murrysville; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Loose was a life member of Martinsburg Grace Brethren Church, where she was a deacon emeritus, a member of the former Rose Circle Sunday School class and was a former Sunday School teacher.

Friends will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at John C. Bolger Funeral Home, Martinsburg.

LOOSE -- Services for Elizabeth H. Loose, formerly of 207 N. Nicodemus St., Martinsburg, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Martinsburg Grace Brethren Church, by Pastor James S. Laird Sr. Interment at Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg. Friends will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at John C. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg.
