Elizabeth Fletcher Mosby , will dated, Amherst Co., Va. May 27, 1890 . To Elizabeth Ambler Gish of Lynchburg my set of pearls, gold watch, silver cake basket and silver salt cellars. To Laura Ambler Rhodes , my silver urn, cream pitcher and sugar bowl. To Indiana F. Williams the engraving in the parlor "The posting day," mantle clock of Russian marble, photos and other souvenirs of my departed niece Daisy Williams . To Lucian Fletcher I give an annuity of $200,00 Dollars. To my Cousin L. R. Page $5000,00 Dollars. To Wm. Hamilton Kerr I give 100 acres of good land & $150,00 in money. Residue of estate to my brother Sidney Fletcher absolutly except my home where I now live which after his death I give to the Sisters of Charity of the Holy Cross, Lynchburg for their sole use & when it ceases to be so used then it must revert to the heirs of Sidney Fletcher . Executor, Sidney Fletcher , without security. Proved by Chas. L. Scott and Wm. R. Chase , 20th Oct. 1890 . Sidney Fletcher qualifies as Executor giving $50,000 bond. Appraisers, C. L. Scott , J. J. Ambler , E. B. Ambler , Wm. R. Chase , S. B. Claiborne . W. B. 22, p. 462. Daughter of Elijah Fletcher and Maria Antoinette Crawford Fletcher. Married William Hamilton Mosby in 1859, but is identified on her tombstone as a Fletcher, and as a daughter and sister, but not as a wife, and is believed to have divorced William Hamilton Mosby sometime after the Civil War.
