Elizabeth Ruth Harris

Biography

Elizabeth Ruth Harris was born on February 4, 1930 in Paris, Lamar, Texas, US. Her parents were John William Harris and Katherine Moseley Wilson.

Elizabeth married John Starnes Moseley, Jr on May 10, 1952 in Beaumont, Jefferson, Texas, US. Together they had the following children:
Genelle Moseley Edwards;
Katherine Moseley;
Karan Moseley;
Susan S. Moseley.

She died on April 13, 2017 in Augusta, Kennebec, Maine, and was buried in Lemay, St. Louis County, Missouri, United States of America.

Mrs. Moseley graduated from Sunset High School in Dallas, then attended the University of Texas at El Paso where she was a member of the Tri Delta sorority.

Mrs. Moseley was a member of South County Baptist Church of St. Louis and was baptized into the Christian faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Sarah Harris Stringer Perkins and Mary Catherine Harris Jones; one brother, John William Harris, Jr; and by her husband of 53 years, John S. Moseley, Jr.
