Elizabeth Muir, here treated, probably predeceased her mother Jonet Crawford, who died in June 1620. In any event, when her widowed father gave up her mother's testament dative it was in name and behalf of their only surviving child Margaret Muir. No mention of any other children was made when confirmation was granted to Matthew Muir on 30 June 1624.
