Daughter of Rev. William & Alice (Bradford) Adams; married Rev. Samuel Whiting of Windham, CT on Sept. 14, 1696 and married second on Dec. 22, 1737 as his third wife, Rev. Samuel Niles of Braintree, Mass. After Rev. Nile's death in 1762, she moved to New Haven to be with her son, Nathan.

Inscription: In Memory of Mrs. Elisabeth Niles who was born at Dedham in the Colony of the Massachusetts Bay Feb'ry 23d AD 1681 and died at Newhaven Dec'br 21d 1766 in 86th year of her age.
