Elizabeth Jones, daughter of Richard Jones, married Richard Page on June 24, 1779, in Charlotte, Virginia.[1]

Richard Page was born in 1759. He passed away about 1817. On June 24, 1779, Richard married Elizabeth Royal Jones, in Charlotte, Virginia.[1]

Origins

Richard Jones wrote his will, dated 19 August 1778, and it was probated in the October Court 1778. Age: 59, 1778, Nottoway Parish, Amelia, Virginia, United States.[3]

Imprimis first after my just debts are paid I lend unto my loving wife Elizabeth Jones the following slaves, Viz: Jack, Stephen, James, Jane, Nan, Stewart, Cuff Stewart & John Stewart, also the land and plantation I now live on, it being a tract of four hundred acres, during her natural life & at her decease the aforesd salves and their future increase, to be equally divided between my children Margaret Jones, Elizabeth Royall, Sarah Jones, Rachel Jones, Thomas and William Jones to them and their heirs forever, and the aforesaid tract of land to my son William Jones to him & his heirs forever
