E P" Update 7/10/2016(CLM): Mother of all Peck Family Members in America.
ELIZABETH married WILLIAM PECK on Nov. 22, 1622 in London. DEACON WILLIAM was a merchant in London. His family which included my ancestor, JEREMIAH PECK, came on the Hector, arriving in Boston on in 1637. William signed the Fundamental Agreement of Quinnipiack, was an original proprietor of New Haven, freeman in 1640, and deacon of the First Church from 1659 to his death. A portion of their homelot in New Haven was on George Street, while their shop was on the southeasterly side of and fronting on Church Street.
After the death of Elizabeth, William married Sarah, widow of William Holt. William died while visiting his son, Joseph, in Lyme.
The other children of William & Elizabeth Peck: John Peck, JOSEPH (also my ancestor) both were baptized in 1641, and Elizabeth in 1643.
