Elizabeth Baldwin, dau. of Sylvester Baldwin and Elizabeth Avery, was b. in Stonington, Conn. on July 6,1725; married on Feb. 1,1744, with CAPT.THOMAS PRENTICE, son of Samuel3Thomas3Capt.Thomas1. He was b. Oct. 15,1719, and d. Mar. 3,1788; she d. Dec. 21,1777. They settled in the northwest part of Stonington and had children:
Eunice (1746), Rebecca (1748), Elizabeth (1751), Esther (1754), Mary (1756), Martha (1759), and Thomas (1765).
