24 March 1806 William Raine [age over 21] of Barford of the parish of Winston [farmer, bachelor], married Elizabeth Bell [spinster] of Broomhill in this parish [Lanchester in the county and diocese of Durham] were married in this church [the chapelry of Satley or the Parish Church of Lanchester] by a licence from the County Durham this 21 March 1807
Also from the BT's of the parish of Lanchester, County Durham which contains Satley, Elizabeth BELL daughter of Anthony and Elizabeth BELL of Broomshields was christened 18 July 1784. I believe Broomshields is in Satley. There was an earlier Elizabeth born to this couple according to the IGI (christened 1782) so presumably she had died young.
