DESCENDANTS of HENRY RANDOLPH I of Henrico County, Virginia (1623-1673)

RANDOLPH, Henry, b. Houghton Parva, Northamptonshire, England; baptized Nov. 27, 1623 d. Henrico Co. Va. 1673 , son of William Randolph by his second wife, Dorothy Lane (daughter of Richard Lane of Courteenhall and widow of Thomas West of Cotton End; immigrated to Virginia about 1642;4 Clerk Henrico County from about 1643 to about 3-656; 5 Clerk Virginia Assembly from 1656 to his death.

He married in Virginia (l) Oct. 12, 1652 Elizabeth (d. Oct. 12, 1660).

Issue:

• 1) Henry (died young)
• 2) William (died young)

He m. (2) Dec. 12, 1661 to Judith Soane (daughter of Henry Soane, Speaker House of Burgesses 1660-1661, and his wife Judith) b. 1647, d. 1693)
