According to the Richmond County, Virginia Order Book, Thomas Reyley died before the Richmond County Court session of February 7, 1694/95 where it was ordered that John Landman officate as Constable for the ensuing year in the room and precinct of Thomas Reyly deced. (Richmond County Orders Bk 2).
Thomas Reyley's last will and testament was presented for probate to the Richmond County Court on June 5, 1695 (Richmond County Orders Bk 2, p56) by his Widow, relict and Executrix, Elizabeth Reyly.
By August 9, 1695, Elizabeth had married John Champ; and at the Richmond County Court held on that date, the Court granted non-suit to John Champ as Marrying Elizabeth Reyly against William Sisson (Richmond County Orders Bk#2 p79).
This action had previously been brought against Elizabeth's husband, Thomas Reyley, prior to his death (see Richmond County Orders Bk #2 p25).
