Elizabeth "Girlie" Bell lived in Sheep's Bay, NY until her marriage to Jack Sands of Paterson, NJ. The couple worked at the Arrow Textile. Arrow was owned and operated by Jacks brother, Charles Sands. After their marriage they moved to Saddle Brook, NJ.
They had two children, Jack, Jr. and Louise. The couple and their family moved to Phillipsburg, NJ in about 1948. Jacks other brother, Albert bought the Sanco Piece Dye Works and many of the family members moved to Phillipsburg for work. It was the depression and it was hard to find jobs. Jack and "Girlie" both lived in brother Alberts house on Belvidere Road until their deaths. Their daughter Louise and her family also lived there. Louise continues to live in the same house in 1915.
