John Shaw, a tailor of Malden, was living in Malden in 1674 and in Rehoboth, Massachusetts in 1680.[1] John had a grant of land in Malden in 1675, however, due to King Philip’s War the area wasn’t settled until 1684.[2]
Marriage #1: John Shaw of Malden married Hannah (Grover?) in 1667. Torrey states that John Shaw of Malden married someone as first wife in 1667 in Malden. [3]
Marriage #2: John Shaw of Malden married Elizabeth Ramsdell on 12 August 1674 in Malden, Massachusetts.[4]
Marriage #3: After his death in 1727, his Probate Administrator was his widow, Hannah __________. [5] We need some proof of which years they were married or which years wife #2, Elizabeth, was alive.
Death: January 1727 in Rehoboth, Bristol, Massachusetts [6]
John was born in 1650. He passed away in 1697.
