Elizabeth "Bettie" Susanna Smit (1934 - 2006)

Bettie (69), a friend of Louis George Fivaz (77), owner of Farm Mondebult near Steynrus, was bludgeoned to death on 19th November 2006.

Fivaz and his farm worker Molomontja Piet Seshaba (33), were also murdered, all found with multiple injuries inside the farm house.

Superintendent Annelie Wrensch said four suspects - between the ages of 18 and 22 - were arrested on Tuesday night in Phomolong near Hennenman, and expected to appear in the Steynsrus magistrate's court on Friday on charges of murder, housebreaking and theft.
