About Elizabeth Taylor
Elizabeth Taylor was the daughter in law to Colonial Henry Duke (Henry Duke Sr.), and the wife of his son Captain Henry Duke(Henry Duke Jr.) Please Check with the Duke University Family Tree, they have everything you will need to get this right. I should know their my family members, Elizabeth Taylor-Duke and Captain Henry Duke Jr. are my 8th Great Grandparents. My 8th Great Grandfather also had a sister Elizabeth Duke who was born in 1663-1771, and she married either Nathan Turner of George Lumsden, or maybe she was married to them both, at different times of course. Therefore, I do have an 8th great aunt named Elizabeth Duke- married name, and an 8th great grandmother named Elizabeth Taylor-Duke who was the wife of Captain Henry Duke Jr. and the daughter in law to Colonial Henry Duke Sr. who was known as Captain Henry Duke at the time of his daughter Elizabeth Duke was born which makes this all very confusing if you are not familiar with all the family members who have similar names marring and then changing their last names, making the sister in laws have the same first an last names, and since they are marring a brother of the other girl, they are going to be born around the same time if the brother and sister are around the same age. Thanks for looking into this for me, I truly appreciate it, Wholeheartedly Ms. Darla S. Dollins-Hudson
