Last member of the family to own/occupy the "Stone House" at 5405 Scotsburn Road, Lyons Brook. Sold the house to Derek Tissington in 1982. Derek sold the house in 2010.

Elizabeth Anne (Betty) Taylor, 59, Lyons Brook, died Sunday, Dec. 27, at home. Born in Bridgewater, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Mary O'Brien Taylor. She was employed as a term deposit officer with Central Trust, where she worked for the last 21 years. She was a member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Pictou. She is survived by a brother, Robert, Lunenburg; two nieces, Faye (Mrs Gordon Forbes), Lower Sackville, and Wendy (Mrs Phillip Daniels), of Lunenburg. Funeral service was held yesterday (Tuesday) at MacLaren Funeral Home, Rev. Kenneth Stright officiating. Burial will be in Haliburton Cemetery.
