James Thomas wife "Not" the same as Elizabeth "Betty" Starnes was her cousin. There were two Elizabeth Calliham's - John;s daughter married James Thomas.

Elizabeth Thomas was born in 1756 in Cambridge, Pitt, North Carolina, USA. Her parents were John W. Callaham and Sarah Ussery.

Elizabeth married James P Thomas in 1774 in Edgefield, South Carolina, USA. Together they had the following children:

• James Callaham Thomas;
• Elizabeth Thomas;
• John Calliham Thomas.

She died on February 29, 1816 in Edgefield County, South Carolina, USA and was buried in Edgefield, South Carolina, United States.
