Elizabeth Thompson

According to family records, Elizabeth Thompson (nee Pollock) was from Cluntis, Co. Antrim, but that place doesn't seem to exist.

The 1901 census return for Ireland shows James (55) and Elizabeth (56), both Presbyterians, in Linenhall Street, Ballymoney - http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/reels/nai003984241/. He is a grocer and they have a domestic servant who is 22. Elizabeth's age is given as 56, which would put her birth year around 1845. She was born in County Antrim.

The 1911 census shows them at the same address, this time with two of their unmarried daughters, Mary Elizabeth (33) and Margaret (31). Elizabeth is again shown as being a year older than her husband. The record states that they have been married 45 years and had seven children, of whom three are still living. If she is 68, as the record states, then she would have been born around 1843, not 1845 as suggested in the earlier census.
