Elizabeths parents were Walter Daniel Eyles and Jane Primmer. •Elizabeth Eyles and Thomas Samuel Tidd immigrated to Nelson, South Island, New Zealand, on 24 September 1841. Elizabeth 26, and Thomas 24, and their daughter Esther aged 6, left from London on the Mary Ann, captained by Thomas Bolton arriving at Nelson NZ on 5 February 1842. They werepart of the second fleet of ships commissioned by The New Zealand Company to bring settlers to the area around Nelson on the South Island of New Zealand. Her parents and other siblings were also on board
