No record of the birth or baptism of Elizabeth could be located and the first documentary evidence of her existence was the passenger manifest for the maid of Erin which left Hobart on 1st October1852 for Geelong. Her age is recorded as 21 giving her a calculated year of birth of 1832.

After her migration to Victoria in October 1852 on the Maid of Erin, no further documentary evidence on her has been located. One source, unconfirmed, suggests that Elizabeth may have died on 12 March 1862? but that information needs to be verified.
