Biography

Elizabeth Rogers was born before 1652, probably in Duxbury, Plymouth Colony, the daughter of John and Anna (Churchman) Rogers.[1]

She married Nathaniel Williams at Taunton on 17 November 1668,[2] the son of Richard and Frances (Dighton) Williams. Nathaniel was born Taunton on 17 November 1639, died there 16 August 1692.

The inventory of Nathaniel's estate was taken 26 December 1692, and a division of his estate was made on 25 July 1698. The division named Elizabeth his widow, eldest son John, second son Nathaniel, their grandmother Williams, and only daughter Elizabeth who was a minor and unmarried.[3]

Elizabeth died after 07 March 1703, the date that her mother-in-law, Frances Williams, made a bequest to Elizabeth in her will.[4]

Elizabeth Rogers was born before 1652 at prob., Duxbury. She was the daughter of John Rogers and Anna Churchman.[2] Elizabeth Rogers married Nathaniel Williams, son of Richard Williams and Frances Dighton, on 17 November 1668 at Taunton. Her married name was Williams. Elizabeth Rogers died after 7 March 1703.
