Elizabeth York

Elizabeth KIVETT is the first born child of eleven children born to John Matthew KIVETT Sr. and his wife Rosannah "Rose" ALDRIDGE.

Elizabeth KIVETT age twenty five married on 1 Jan 1807 to John 'Crabtree' YORK age twenty five.

The ten known children of Elizabeth KIVETT and John 'Crabtree' YORK were all born in Randolph County, North Carolina. According to the 1840 U S Census report there is an unnamed daughter born about 1835 but Elizabeth is missing. This supports a possible scenario that Elizabeth KIVETT age fifty three perhaps died at the childbirth of the last daughter born about 1835. After 1840 but before 1850 John 'Crabtree' YORK migrated north to Morgan County, Indiana with his youngest son Kingsberry YORK.

John 'Crabtree' YORK age 89 is living with the family of Kingsberry YORK in Martinsville, Morgan County, Indiana in the 1870 U S Census as of 6 June 1870.
