About Elizabeth de Caldcotis
William Livingston, a younger son of Sir John Livingston of Callendar, who fell at Homildon Hill (see title Linlithgow), by his second wife, Agnes, daughter of Sir James Douglas of Dalkeith, married Elizabeth, daughter and coheiress of William de Caldcotis, with whom he got the lands of Graden in Berwickshire. For this marriage a papal dispensation was obtained 10 November 1421, the parties being within the third degree of consanguinity.
He died in 1459, leaving three sons
