About Ellen Ellehammer Rasmussen
When the puny Ellen was 3 years old she was looked after by her grandmother Frederikke in Vålse. Later she went to Copenhagen where she graduated from high school. She started medical studies, but had to give up as she couldn´t cope with watching the operations involved. Instead she was head clerk in a large leather firm in Copenhagen. The last years of her hundred year life she spent at a pension for the aged.
